Chrome Plating Using Barrel?

Is it possible to use barrel in a bright chrome plating? If possible, how does the process works and is there a difference in the chemical? I thank you in advance for your kind reply.

If you type in "barrel chrome" in the search engine you will see links to three threads which address this topic, Mr. Leong.

The short answer is that it is not impossible, but is orders of magnitude harder than barrel plating of other finishes, and an extremely high reject ratio seems unavoidable.
