Seeking Automatic/Semi-Automatic Machine for Buffing and Polishing Stainless Steel Utensils

RFQ: Dear Sir,

I have my own manufacturing unit of stainless steel utensils. Due to labour problem our production is very slow and we can't deliver our consignment on time. We made the initial product very fast but due to problem of polishing labour the product can't be dispatched very fast.

I have many products of which we have to do only inner polish & also have the product which require both inner as well as outer polish.

If you have such automatic machines please let us know about them. We are ready to purchase some machine.

A. Dear Vineet, Rahul,

The cheapest solution for polishing/brightening stainless steel utensils (but expensive as investment ) is vibratory brightening with stainless steel balls in automatic machines providing 2,700 - 3,000 vibrations/minute. The time of brightening is 10 - 20 minutes. There are a few manufacturers of such type of machines in Europe.

Q. Dear Sir,

10 to 20 minutes is a lot of time. The laborers can manually polish the utensils in about 2 minutes. Is there any other alternative.

A. Hi Jigar.

Although the machine that Emmanuel is talking about runs for 10 to 20 minutes, it is processing more than one part. It is an automated process which would take less than the 2 minutes of labor time that you reference. Good luck.

Your question or problem cannot be answered with one or two words. Normally the most cost effective way to polish any large volume of parts is to consider mass finishing systems. Depending on the sizes of your parts, their volume, throughput or time, determines which machine system that you should consider. Small volumes may be better worked by buffing wheel systems. If the finished product only needs a good appearance, no surface improvements, then electro polishing might be the way to go.

RFQ: We urgently need a machine capable of polishing grade 304 Stainless Steel Square Bars within the range of 10 mm x 10 mm up to 30 mm x 30 mm with a length of 3000 mm and/or 6000 mm to a mirror finish level for heavy duty works.

RFQ. We are looking for a machine which can deburr and polish stainless steel sheet. The sheet size is 480 mm width, 500 mm length and thickness 4 mm.

The importance is that polishing speed can be similar with deburring speed. So polishing process speed must be fast enough.

If the machine has no deburring, only polishing function, that is also acceptable.
