I work for a wwtp in a petrochemical plant. Kindly, inform me about following problem. Is it possible to treat oily water sewer water containing 2ppm cyanid in an activated sludge system?

This site is about metal finishing rather than petrochemicals, and our treatment systems are virtually all chemical rather than biological, so you probably won't find real experience in that issue here. But my Guess is it won't work.
