-----Corrosion Black iron vs Copper
I am looking for a cheap and effective coating that will prevent corrosion between black iron and brass in a NPT threaded assembly. The surfaces to be coated are the female threads.

The best and simplest thing to do is to install a dielectric union. In the USA I bought my last ones at Home Depot. About $5.00 US If it is not critical, you can connect it with PVC fittings. You will want a union in it so it can be unscrewed if you needed to do maintenance on any part of the system.
