Passivation of Stainless

I would like to know if there has been any independent scientific testing on the performance of citric acid compared to Nitric acid for passivation?

There are quite a few independent studies, but most are studies run by companies who use our products. We can supply you with independent data on some grades of stainless, Hastelloy, etc. Good test results have been obtained in every industry.
