Science research galvanization of steel

I am an eleventh grade chemistry student, and I am working on a project involving the galvanization of steel. I am planning to use the electrolysis method to do my experiment. However, I am not very familiar with the protocol for such a process. I would appreciate any help, and/or suggestions, you could give me.
