Interactions Between Silver Plated Surfaces with Protective Lacquers

I am looking for a protective transparent lacquer, which preserves Silver plated (silver nitrate route) small objects (plastics or metallic) from become pale yellow and finally yellow-brown. I noticed that silver in air is stable (it's brightness and colour) while all the lacquer we utilized to protect the plating where unsuccessful.

Any suggestion is appreciated.
