Primer on Cement Statues

I am using one of your primers on my cement statues. And the paint still comes off even with a sealant too.

I read recently in the newspaper that you should wash the unpainted cement statue or whatever the cement item is with soapy water to remove residue, dirt, etc. This should be followed with a vinegar in bulk on eBay or Amazon [affil links] is suppose to "prime" the cement so that the paint will adhere and not peel off. I plan to try this in the near future--hope it works.
