-----Aluminum Coating on Copper
I want to make a coating of aluminum on a copper surface. The coating must be very tight because it should isolate the copper from a gas.

Aluminum electroplating is available to coat copper with very good results. You can get a fully dense, pore free layer with a .3 mils minimum layer.
You don't mention which gas you are using, but I do know of current applications where SST is plated with aluminum and has proven to be highly resistant in environments that involve hot fluorene gas.
