DEPASSIVATION OF 17-4PH STAINLESS STEEL FOR MALCOMIZING(NITRIDING)

I WANT TO NITRIDE 17-4PH STAINLESS STEEL IN GAS NITRIDING FURNACE. DEPASSIVATION OF 17-4PH STAINLESS STEEL IS VERY ESSENTIAL TO PREPARE THE SURFACE TO NITRIDE IT. WHAT DEPASSIVATION PROCESS DO YOU SUGGEST TO TREAT 17-4PH STAINLESS STEEL? DO YOU SALE CHEMICALS WHICH CAN DEPASSIVATE 17-4PH SS SURFACE? DO YOU SALE ANY OTHER CHEMICALS OR GAS TO PERFORM DEPASSIVATION OF SS? IF ANY ONE HAS INFORMATION HOW TO DEPASSIVATE STAINLESS STEEL (17-4PH)BEFORE NITRIDING OPERATION BEGINS IN GAS NITRIDING FURNACE, I WOULD APPRECIATE THEIR FEEDBACK.

ANY INFORMATION ON DEPASSIVATION OF 17-4PH STAINLESS STEEL TO CARRY OUT NITRIDING(MALCOMIZING) WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP TO ME. IF ANY ONE HAS DONE NITRIDING ON 17-4PH SS, THEIR OPINION IS MOST WELCOME.

THANKS.
