Chrome Plate Plastic(2001)
I am looking for someone who can help me with chrome plating black plastic mirrors on my truck. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Clean parts, spray with Krylon Brass Metallic Paint [linked by editor to product info at Amazon](dry-1 hour), copper plate in acid copper solution, then simply finish with nickel and chrome electro-plating. Do not use chrome paint it will not work.

" . . . simply finish with nickel and chrome electro-plating . . . " -- easy for you to say :-)
Thanks, Philip, but that technology is far beyond the reach of most hobbyists. What Malcolm more realistically may need to do is to send the parts to a plating shop if chrome-look paint is not adequate.
