Flash Coating

I would like to know

(1) What is a "Flash Coating Process " ?

(2) How it can be carried out ?

In respect to coating aluminium bearings by tin(Sn)/lead(Pb) flash coating process. Coating thickness is very very less - about 1 to 2 microns.

If anybody can provide the technical details of above query it would be highly appreciated.
