Diff Between Metallizing and phosphating

Dear sir

I am a lpg cylinder manufacturer, I have a requirement of coating a layer of zinc on to the cylinder, now I am doing by metallizing., i.e I am spraying a coat of zinc on the cylinder by electric shorting. I request you to give me the details of phosphating and on my cylinders, the advantages, economics, process.
