-----Crack on Small Galvanneal Samples
2001
I have been conducting the annealing (air cooling) of hot dip galvanized steel plate (1mm thick) then I found cracks all over the surface perpendicular to steel base.
My hypothesis were:
1. the air cooling rate was too high or;
2. the sample was too small

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
