-----Ti Anodizing Color Spectrum vs Oxide Thickness
2001
Dear friends,
Does anyone have the complete anodizing color spectrum for Ti (TI-alloys) and the associated oxide thickness for each color?
Thanks in advance.
Giovanni Righini- Italy
You can find a complete color spectrum with oxide film thickness of anodized titanium in a paper contributed by A.K. Sharma (Thin Solid Film, 208(1992), p.48-54). Generally speaking, anodizing produces 2-3 nm/volt of oxide film on titanium surface.

You can find the A. Sharma article (mentioned above) on this website:
www.sciencedirect.com/science
This has the thickness vs. color/voltage chart..very helpful
