Ti Anodizing Color Spectrum vs Oxide Thickness

Dear friends,

Does anyone have the complete anodizing color spectrum for Ti (TI-alloys) and the associated oxide thickness for each color?

Thanks in advance.

You can find a complete color spectrum with oxide film thickness of anodized titanium in a paper contributed by A.K. Sharma (Thin Solid Film, 208(1992), p.48-54). Generally speaking, anodizing produces 2-3 nm/volt of oxide film on titanium surface.

You can find the A. Sharma article (mentioned above) on this website:

This has the thickness vs. color/voltage chart..very helpful

Ed. note: The URL you originally provided doesn't work any more, Lage ("Sorry, your search results are no longer stored. Return to Search and re-enter the search request."), but readers can search for it. The abstract is free, but they would need to buy the article.
