Establishing a Buffing Standard

I am interesting in establishing an analytical measurement of buffing quality? Reflectivity, shine, etc

I would suggest getting your hands on a copy of an automotive (GM, Ford, etc) spec for the same thing and pick and choose what you want and do not want. Also, you should evaluate these for practicality of your end use.
