Matte / Frosted Chrome Plating on Aluminum Alloy & Plastic

2000

We are an injection mould & moulding manufacturer. We are looking for a solution for the following issues:

1. Matte-Chrome Plating on an Aluminum Alloy. The alloy details are : AlCuBiPb. The finish may also be described as Frosted Chrome by some platers. The final component is used as a pen tip.

2. Matte-Chrome Plating on an injection moulded plastic part. The plastic material details are: ABS. The finish may also be described as Frosted Chrome by some platers. The final component is used as a pen clip.

We have developed plated samples of both the above; however we would like to improve the quality of the plating. If you have any technical info that would be of help please respond.

Thanks

George Jacob
