Coating plastic reflectors

Need Help !

1. Need to know what kind of liquid to coat the plastic reflectors before chroming or electroplating, for using with the portable spotlight or flashlight which be able stand heat over like 4-500 C.

So I would like to know the name of these liquid , supplier, or any detail etc.,

2. This is some kind of emergency, please provide all & any detail, sooner the better,

Dear Jimmy,

From our experience, plastic reflectors are better off to be Aluminum coated using Vacuum metallizing method.

Not only more expensive, the chrome electroplating will make the reflector color bluish and dark.

Depending the type of plastic substrate and the bonding strength required, there are several kinds of base coat to use.
