Re-plating of bathroom fixtures

2000

plating or chroming,

i have some bathroom plumbing fixtures (i.e., faucets and shower faucet) that are from the 1950's. They are very high quality fixtures and I am curious as to whether they can be re-chromed or plated. Is anyone aware if this can be done, will it last, and a ballpark estimate of the cost?

Thank you

Absolutely! Positively! But not overnight!

See our shops directory for the people who can do that. It will cost more than replacing the fixtures with new, highest quality parts, but that is not why you are contemplating saving the old ones.
