Electropolishing of zinc

Can zinc be electropolished? I have a die casting which needs between .0001 and .002" removed. Precision isn't particularly important. Surface finish is not critical, either. Corner rounding is fine.

Any vendor recommendations in New England?

Our company is a supplier of chemicals, equipment, and process technology for electropolishing. To the best of our knowledge, there are no commercial baths designed for electropolishing zinc diecastings.
