Adhesion problem, powder coat on anodized aluminium
question, bad adhesion when polyester powder coating on top of normal anodized aluminium. Treatment is washing, removing grease, phosphating bath, drying, heating (heating to remove water from the anodized surface and to open anodize seal) and then powder coating. Please help me!

Two things to check for good adhesion to aluminum. one, use good quality water, generally at least softened but D.I. is better. second, a general iron phosphate will not work well, you will need a little fluorine in the mix. Use a good quality phosphate and fluorine supplier.
