Amount of chromium used in plating in the U.S.

I would like to know the amount of chromium used in plating in the US.

Can anyone help me with this?

You could buy the reports of the Surface Finishing Market Research Board, available from AESF or NAMF, where you will find some data there about usage of plating supplies that may or may not answer your questions.

As an additional suggestion however, from having spent the last 11 years of my life posting 25 thousand Q&A's here: you haven't yet made your question isn't interesting enough to vest most people to put out the necessary effort to try to answer it for you.

In addition to Ted's suggestion above, see if there is any additional information available in the U.S. Dept. of Commerce yearly reports called Industrial Outlook, sections Nonferrous metals as well as Components.
