Zinc lined copper tub

Hi, looking for info on zinc plated copper tub. Want to purchase one, but don't know how easy these are to maintain or what the combination entails. I would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks

Why zinc plate a copper bath?

Is it for colour contrast?

Plain copper or brass/bronze I'm sure can be clear lacquered. If that begins to fail clean it up and re-apply.

Best solution is probably, when you do find a supplier ask them how long the warranty is and what to do once this runs out. If you don't like the answers, don't buy the tub.
