I need to coat Hardox 500 carbon steel for blades with nickel tungsten.
I'm having adhesion issues.
Can I apply pretreatment with Al2O3 shot or glass bead, which is better and is it necessary to soak in hydrochloric acid afterwards or not? What would be the procedure? I appreciate your prompt response.

mil gracias / Thank you very much.
