Is zinc plating organically lead free n without cyanide?

A. Hi Ismail,
5 microns (mild exposure) is the lowest thickness in any specs that I'm aware of, but it should be more than adequate.
Plain zinc plating plus trivalent chromating would be significantly cheaper than tin/zinc, as well as glossier.
The plating would be lead-free, but most tin-zinc is plated from a cyanide solution --one more reason to go with plain zinc 🙂
Luck & Regards,
