-----Adding Fe/Cu to Hard Chrome Plating Bath as DOE?
Q. We're running a DOE on the effect of various plating / bath parameters on corrosion performance of a hard chrome bath. One of the variables we'd like to investigate is metal contamination. Does anyone have a suggestion for an efficient way to add free iron and or copper to the bath? I'm thinking of a iron or copper chromate maybe? I'd prefer not adding a lot of other solids to the tank. All input is appreciated!
