Does Ford WSS-M3P36-A2 (Green) make sense?

Q. Hi,

I am from a spring manufacturing company. My customer's drawing calls for ESA-M3P28-B (Green) on torsion springs.

ESA-M3P28-B has been S/S by WSS-M3P36-A2

I have been looking for a company that can perform this spec but all of them have regretted the Green color and are only offering natural.

The spec does not outline how to color the parts.

My previous supplier who went out of business told me they use to do phosphate + paint + oil + wax.
When I told this to the companies I have asked to quote so far they found it unusual and pointless and told me they have never performed phosphate + paint and then oil and wax.

The paint is only for Identification.

Any suggestions as to how to add paint to WSS-M3P36-A2?
