Must aluminum be blasted before ceramic coating?

Q. Before coating ceramic on aluminium it requires blasting for better finishing So my question is can we do laser cleaning before color or we have to blast after laser cleaning of the material ... we are one of the manufacturers of ceramic coated on aluminium and stainless steel cookware. Can you help me to improve on this? Thank you
