Metalized parts turn 'gold' even before topcoat

Q. Hey Guys.

We are metalizing plastic parts and we are having issues with slightly Gold parts.

We stop cycle before the Deposition stage (Silicon oil) and the parts are nice and shiny silver but trying to work out what would cause the parts to turn gold.

Could it be due to a vacuum leak?
