Coloured plated strip steel

We are looking for strip steel already plated. Basic specifications are: mild strip steel 1 mm thick, 100 hours corrosion resistance Salt Spray Test, Colour of plating preferable yellow, The strip is going to be cold formed, bended and welded,in order to produce hose clamps. We already have tested electroplated zinc strips with organic coating, but when bending (90�)the coating chips. Does anybody know in www.finishing.com where we can buy such steel, or other platings or coatings we can test? Your assistance with all of the above, and any other suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated.

I believe that you will have trouble with any preplated coating, especially with the welding portion. I believe that forming the parts and then barrel plating with zinc and yellow will be the most economic solution. If you have trouble with the salt spray resistance, then a zinc-nickel or other zinc alloy should work.
