-----Aluminum Smelter Cathode Deterioration While Idle
Q. An Aluminum smelter has been shut down for about 15 years. On re-start, a forced ejection of gases were predominant especially at the corners of the cell with characteristic yellow flame. Its been my first encounter and would like to find out the import of what is happening.
