Proof coin effect on die -- both frosted look & mirror look

Q. Sir,
I want you to help me in making coin die in double texture, that is, frosting and mirror look finish, (proof coin die). By which process this can be possible?

A. Most of the finishing work is done prior to the finish strike. The bright polished background look is achieved from processing the blank coins in a steel burnishing operation prior to the final hit. The frosted look is achieved by glass beading the finish to blank or the die.
