Shelf Life of Bake Hardening Steel

Q. I am currently doing research on a project I am involved in at work.

Bake Hardening Steel (HC 180 B) has a shelf life of 6 months --
- So once the material has exceeded its shelf life, is there any visible characteristic that shows is has exceeded its shelf life?

- What is the implication of BH material once it has exceeded its shelf life? (in terms of Fit, Form and Function on a vehicle)

- BH material once it exceeds its shelf life, does it lose some of its mechanical property ?

- BH material has an increase in its yield strength once it has been induced with a temperature of 170 °CC with a fixed time of 20 minutes; what happens to that material if it's done so with material that has exceeded its shelf life?
