-----Properties of Zinc vs. Manganese Phosphated Fasteners
I am a metallurgical engineer work for a multinational engineering industry. I would like to know if there is any difference in the tribological properties of Zn-phosphated & Mn-phosphated fasteners? Is there any difference in fatigue properties?

Manganese phosphate is used as a final finish plus oiling while zinc phosphate is mostly used as base to paint.
