Sandblast mask / sandblast resistant paint

April 10, 2015

Q. Dear sir,
I'm a manufacturer of metal coins like silver, gold, copper, brass, etc.
I also manufacture our own dies with Acid etching.
I want to sandblast on my dies but covering some area with Sandblast resist paint.
So please suggest some helpful paint or resin.

Hi Kaushal. I'm not familiar with paintable products being used for this purpose, but vinyl adhesive tapes/sheets are. Look for terms like "Hartco SandMask", "3M Buttercut Sandblast Resist Stencils", or similar products from Anchor or Edco. Good luck.
