Immersion Plating Precious Metals Out Of Water Sources Using Aluminum

Q. We use aluminum immersion plating on water from springs, creeks and other sources to finger print precious metals in these sources. My question: Is there any fast way to check for colloidal precious metals without taking a bulk water sample back to the lab?
