Electroless Nickel Plating on Aluminum for Solderability is Leaving Water Stains

Q. Our customer requests one product (aluminum alloy baseplate) needing soldering after electroless nickel plating. Now our customer feedback is the solderability is ok, but about 6% have water mark on surface after soldering.

Anyone who has experience on this please give me some suggestions. Thanks.
