Cleaning cycle for Electroless Nickel Plating of 42CrMo4

Q. Hello,

1. I have a customer who has come to me with a job made from 42CrMo4.
2. They are to be plated with Electroless nickel.
3. The issue is that he does not want us to use pickling as part of the cleaning cycle.
4. If any one has any idea, please let me know.
