Q. Please provide or suggest process steps including time, temperature, and pH at each step to plate (Reel to Reel Plate) base metal Copper or Copper clad aluminum wire with sulfamate nickel including documented reference such as Metal Finishing Guide Book, or article or technical data sheet describing the entire process.

A. Hi Vijay. I don't know of any journal articles / plant writeups on this subject and, if there were, they would be missing a lot of this info anyway as everyone has their trade secrets. But you might approach your plating process supplier and see if they have a vaguely similar case study for you.

There's no harm in asking, of course, but when I did plating consulting for 30 years I would have considered this a 1-1/2 day project -- so I don't think anyone in the world is going to do this assignment for you for free. What I can suggest though, is that you go through the textbooks and attempt the assignment yourself (I have heard of you and know you have broad plating experience), and post your proposed solution ... then I think you will easily get several experts to critique your proposal in excellent detail here. Good luck.
