Blood Bank

Q. Dear Sir,

We are manufacturing ALUMINIUM CAP - exclusively used for BLOOD BANK which is cap for BLOOD BOTTLE.

CAN ALUMINIUM CAP COATING BE MADE ONLY BY "ELECTROLESS NICKEL COATING" OR MERELY NICKEL CHROME COATING? WHICH IS BEST ONE?

PLEASE REPLY.

MOHAN SEATHERI

A. Hi Mohan. Surely there are standards which dictate this construction, rather than it being left to people's whims to decide as they will? But electroless nickel will be more corrosion resistant than nickel-chrome plating.

Regards,
