How to Analyze Chloroacetic acid s

Q. Do you know of a method to analyze for chloroacetic acid on eBay or Amazon [affil link] s (mono, di, tri)? Levels would be 1 to 100 µg/l or so.
Solution likely to be 2-4 gpl NaCl.

Thank you in advance.

A. Gas chromatography, after derivatization with diazomethane. An extraction step might be required as well.

You can likely adapt the "Standard Methods..." procedure for herbicides in water to this analysis.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
