-----Electroless nickel plating of fly ash
February 27, 2013
Q. Sir I want Electroless nickel plating on Fly Ash. In that process generally using palladium chloride as an activator. But it is very costly powder. Please tell me an alternative activating powder for Fly Ash.

A. Hi Umakanth. I am a bit lost so please educate me before I can help you. To my knowledge fly ash is the product of combustion (usually the combustion of coal) that floats up the flue and is captured on electrostatic precipitators. Why would someone attempt to electroless nickel plate this waste product? Thanks.
