Want Pure Titanium Coating
Q. I'm looking to coat Stainless Steel with Titanium - Not TiN or TiO2, just elemental Ti. What would be the best process? From my understanding PVD maybe the best method - is this correct?
RFQ: And does anyone know of companies that do this type of work?

A. Yes, PVD is perhaps is the easiest way to deposit Titanium. One can use cathodic arc, sputtering, or electron beam variations of PVD. Of these cathodic arc is simplest and gives good adhesion though finish would be a little rough.

A. PVD would be the best method. Anyone who can deposit TiN can deposit titanium. I'm sure you can find someone in your area.
