Ceramic Coating on Aluminum

We are looking for a process or a coating for putting onto aluminum to produce a ceramic like finish. Thanks for all the input.

Aluminum oxide is a ceramic. Then why not anodize aluminum?

There is a process called KERONITE which claims good performance. It is a Plasma discharge in an electrolyte which produces an AL2O3 coating.
