-----Boeing Approval Process
Our shop has been trying to get a direct Boeing approval for almost a year now, but the approval process is a bit confusing. We have been plating Boeing parts for over 20 years and our major customers want us to get a direct approval. This will enable us to meet all of their plating needs as wall as bring in new work. Several companies have put in requests but no one seems to know exactly what to do. I have even spoke to two people who actuall do the audits and each person tells me something different. We are loosing a considerable amount of money each day that we do not have an approval. Can anyone offer some advice and explain how this approval process works.
