What is Suzuki plating spec MFCr40-S -- nickel-chrome, hard chrome?

Q. I am working in a sheet metal company. There is a component of Suzuki; it has MFCr40-S plating on this part. I want to know which type of plating it is: nickel chrome plating or hard chrome plating or chrome plating. Please provide me some information about this plating.

A. Hi Ravi.

I think you need to contact your Suzuki buyer as I don't see this spec available from clearing houses. Maybe others can point to its availability though.
