Easiest in situ path to making a mirror polished and a brushed sheet match each other

Q. Hi Guys
I am a production manager for a signage company in Centurion (SA)
Last week we ordered a stainless steel sheet and installed them on the wooden doors using double sided tape and and after removing the protection tape from the plates we realised that the supplier gave us brushed aluminium sheets and they differ with previous sheets as they were mirror stainless steel sheets. We don't want to remove the sheets from the door as it will damage it and we agreed that we must just make the brushed aluminium not to shine too much (have the same colour with the unbrushed sheets). Is there any way we can achieve this, is there any polish or anything to make the brushed stainless steel not to be so shining like the unbrushed stainless steel?

Dear Zakes

Just wait some time.
The shining on aluminum will disappear by itself - by oxidation.

Kind regards

Marc.
