Autocatalytic silver plating

Q. We are developing cyanide based and non cyanide based autocatalytic silver plating by using basic chemistry on base material aluminium, stainless steel and invar. Can you give us some clue on that?

A. Hi Vaishali.

I think you would need to advance a theory of how you think it will work and ask for comments on your theoretical work. Alternately, tell us what you tried and ask for advice on addressing whatever problems you saw and can enunciate. But saying that you are developing something and then asking how to develop it -- starting from step 1-- is pretty close to an oxymoron :-)

Please give us something to comment on. Thanks and good luck!

Regards,
