Q. I have a ring that is stamped "silver" no sterling or percentages ... any idea of what this is?

A. Hi Brian,

Best guess...silver?

Probably best to take it to a jewellers and get it assayed, they will tell you if it is silver and what percentage or whether it is just silver plated.
