I have a plant for tin plating copper lugs; what other products can we make?

Q. Hello guys,

I have a tin plating plant. Currently we are doing job works on copper lugs.
Can anyone suggest to me what are other such products that require tin plating.

Any help and fast reply is appreciated.

Kind regards,

A. Hi Parin.

Many electrical components of all sorts are tin plated. A lot of copper bus bar is tin plated. Tin is a "food safe" material whereas copper is not -- so there may be some food industry product you can offer.

A. There are many applications for tin plate. Oil and gas threaded pipe connections are often tin plated. Also many engine and motor parts are plated with 0.0002-0.0004" of tin. This includes many bushings and washers. Often this is done with an alkaline tin plating bath.
